Why, hello there! As I previously mentioned, I wanted to get back into drawing comics: doing all the writing and sketching and inking and hatching, all that good stuff. So I am starting with a little bitty foray.
In association with my buddy Gene, I am drawing comics this week! However, I decided to give myself a five page script, draw inked full pages and make things complicated for myself by being slow and self-critical, so my comic will probably be drawn out for more than a week. But here is page one!
It is a short fancomic about Kuja from Final Fantasy IX, in case you were wondering. (Yesss, so predictable.)
Defying Fate, page one:
Note: for those who don't know the game, Kuja is a Genome, and they were made rather than born. All Genomes in the game (other than Kuja) look very similar, and I like to think he once fit the same mold, too.
